The biological paradigm:

All biological systems
are designed for movement, stability and energy balance.
Living cells are constantly moving within all
elements. At the same time we find a highly developed stability for form and
structure.
Biological systems are
continuously able to adapt
and at the same time
they stay within their structural stability. In modern science this is explained
by the Tensegrity model.
Biological structures
are constructed in a way that all functions are performed with a minimum of energy consumption.
Osteopathy influences all
three levels:
movement, stability and energy balance. The main
focus of osteopathy is the dysfunctional
movement.
